Who We Are

Name-Styles.com is a technical solution to a simple problem: most digital platforms restrict you to boring, standard fonts.

We’re a Pakistan-based development team that built this tool after realizing that gamers, content creators, and social media users constantly search for ways to make their usernames, bios, and posts stand out. The problem isn’t creativity—it’s character encoding limitations.

The Technical Problem We Solve

Here’s what most people don’t understand about “fancy fonts”:

Standard fonts (Arial, Times New Roman, etc.) are not transmitted as visual styles. When you type text on Instagram or PUBG, you’re sending character codes (like “A” = U+0041 in Unicode). The receiving device then renders those codes using its default font.

The limitation: You can’t tell Instagram to display your text in Comic Sans or Brush Script—that’s controlled by their app design.

Our solution: We use Unicode character mapping to replace standard letters with visually distinct characters from specialized Unicode blocks:

  • Mathematical Alphanumeric Symbols (U+1D400–U+1D7FF)
  • Enclosed Alphanumerics (U+2460–U+24FF)
  • Letterlike Symbols (U+2100–U+214F)
  • Miscellaneous Symbols (U+2600–U+26FF)

These aren’t “fonts” in the traditional sense—they’re completely different characters that happen to resemble stylized letters. Because they’re part of the Unicode Standard, they work across devices without special software.

What We Actually Do

  • 37+ Style Categories: From blackboard bold to circled text to medieval gothic
  • Browser-Based Processing: Your text never leaves your device—all transformations happen locally using JavaScript
  • Zero Data Collection: We don’t store, log, or analyze what you type
  • Cross-Platform Testing: We verify compatibility across Windows, macOS, Android, iOS, and major browsers

Why We Built This

Between 2020-2024, we noticed thousands of monthly searches for “PUBG stylish name,” “Instagram fancy font,” and “Discord cool text.” Existing tools were either:

  1. Ad-riddled garbage with fake “download font” buttons
  2. Required software installation (security risk)
  3. Stored user data (privacy risk)

We built Name-Styles.com to be:

  • Transparent: Open about what we do (and don’t do) with your data
  • Fast: No server round-trips, instant transformations
  • Honest: We tell you upfront that some platforms may not support certain characters

Our Limitations (And Why We’re Honest About Them)

We cannot guarantee:

  • That your text will display correctly on every device (some older phones lack full Unicode support)
  • That platforms like PUBG or Instagram won’t update their character filters
  • That using stylized text won’t reduce post visibility on algorithm-driven platforms

What we can guarantee:

  • We follow the official Unicode Standard 15.1
  • Our code is regularly updated to support new Unicode blocks
  • We don’t inject malware, trackers, or hidden scripts into generated text

Who Uses Our Tool

  • Gamers: PUBG Mobile, Free Fire, Call of Duty Mobile, Valorant players
  • Content Creators: Instagram influencers, TikTok creators, YouTube channel names

  • Multilingual Users: Urdu, Hindi, and Arabic speakers looking for stylized text in their scripts
